Fixes and Improvements
Some teachers had told us that when students tried to submit long questions, they weren't able to. We’ve now fixed this issue. There are now no restrictions on length, so students can ask complex queries if required.
When submitting questions, if students pressed the save button more than once the question was being duplicated. We’ve now fixed this issue.
We had some feedback from teachers that the order of questions was not consistent. Questions are now ordered with the newest at the top, both in the dashboard and the assignment itself.
When using Safari some teachers had told us that the filters were not showing correcting. We’ve now fixed this issue.
When setting assignments, some teachers told us they were unable to use long names. We’ve now fixed this issue. You can now create a naming structure to suit your needs, as there are no restrictions on length.
As part of planning for the term/year ahead, you may have created a draft of an assignment but need to update the name, so it reflects any curriculum changes or specification updates. Now when you edit the name of your assignment it will apply both in the dashboard and the assignment list.
Some teachers told us that they were unable to submit longer comments on an assignment. We've now fixed this issue. There are now no restrictions on comment length, so you can provide as much detail in to your students as you need.
It’s important that when you clone assignments to save time you can assign them to any of your classes. Now there is no restriction on which classes you can assign cloned assignments to.
Custom Marking Fixes
Some teachers had reported they were able to provide a text response when marking using the number Custom Marking format. We’ve now fixed this issue so that you can only provide numeric responses for number marking formats.
Some teachers reported they were unsure when an assignment collection was in progress when using an Android device. Now when collecting an assignment on an Android device you will see a processing icon. This icon will show you that a collection is in progress. Once the collection has completed, the icon will disappear, and you will be able to click into the student. We’ve also worked hard to ensure that the mobile experience is consistent across all devices.
